[KiniNews] Veteran PKR lawmaker Hassan Karim has urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to either prove his allegedly defamatory remarks against Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin over the provision of fuel subsidies to foreigners or apologise for them.The Pasir Gudang MP asserted that the ball is now in the prime minister’s court, after Muhyiddin denied making the remarks Anwar had referred to in Parliament.In response, the Prime Minister's Office said Anwar has directed the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to investigate the matter and to take the appropriate action.Meanwhile, in a separate story, police have classified the incident involving a key prosecution witness in former finance minister Lim Guan Eng’s corruption trial as a robbery.Petaling Jaya district police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar confirmed that the incident was unrelated to the ongoing court proceedings.___________________📌 Share this news!
