Dowling has over 40 years of hospitality industry experience, most recently having spent the last 18 years as Chief Marketing Officer of Best Western where she directed all marketing and commercial strategies. Dowling is known for her expertise and her ability to connect the dots on where business partners need to be focused. Dowling was recently honored with Lifetime Achievement awards from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for her extraordinary commercial leadership, the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference for her innovation and business performance and from GBTA for her commercial leadership and advocacy supporting under represented groups. Dowling holds an Honours BA and an MA from the University of Waterloo in Canada and has completed executive education at Harvard, Cornell and MIT.
